St. Elizabeth’s provides necessary care, resources to patients with heart attack symptoms
 

In recognition of February being National Canned Food Month, HSHS  Home Care and Hospice Southern Illinois is teaming up with several community organizations to “Cram the Car” with non-perishable food items for Catholic Urban Charities.

Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States has a heart attack, according to the American Heart Association.

Area ambulances are now better equipped to address allergic reactions in the field thanks to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with a donation of 24 EpiPens.
 

Winter weather is in full gear and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is encouraging people to get up and get moving.
