HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital


HSHS Home Care & Hospice Southern Illinois and HSHS Home Care Central Illinois teamed up to prepare and deliver Baskets of Blessings to their home care and hospice patients.

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital established a triage tent at the hospital’s emergency department entrance as an alternative screening location for patients with respiratory symptoms.

Giving blood is critical to ensure an adequate supply to meet patient needs during this Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

Medical providers will be honored at health care organizations throughout the country March 30, 2020 during National Doctors’ Day. 

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital will accept cloth face masks to help with the national shortage during the COVID-19 outbreak. 

With the spike in novel coronavirus cases throughout Illinois including the southern Illinois region, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is no longer allowing visitors to the hospital, effective immediately, and entrances have been restricted.
