There are additional visiting time policies for after hours and specialized services areas. Please check below for these times.

After Hours Visitors

All visitors entering our facility between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. must obtain a "Visitors Pass" from Security (located at the entrance to the Emergency Department.)

Mother Child Center

12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 8 p.m. each day. Lullaby Time takes place from 2:30-4:30 p.m. each day, which allows new parents to either enjoy uninterrupted time with their newborn, or sleep if needed.

Visitor Guidelines

St. Elizabeth’s appreciates visitors considerations of our patients’ right to privacy. At any time while visiting friends or loved ones, visitors may be asked to leave the patient room in order for the physician or nursing staff to privately discuss the patient’s care. Other visiting guidelines are as follows:

  • Due to space limitations, it is suggested that no more than two people visit at one time. Special arrangements for additional visitors may be made with the nurse.
  • At times of high flu activity, additional visiting restrictions may be enforces. In general, you should not visit a patient if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, are under the age of 18, or are pregnant.
  • An adult visitor may stay all night with a patient in a private room.
  • Children under the age of four (4) are discouraged from visiting in patient care areas.
  • Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended and are restricted from isolation rooms and critical care.
  • Sibling visitation in Obstetrics is the only exception to the children visitor policy.
  • Visitors must be appropriately clothed (shirts, shoes, etc.) while on hospital property.
  • NO WEAPON POLICY: All weapons are prohibited in all of our campus buildings. Firearms must be left in your vehicle and properly secured.

Wireless Internet

St. Elizabeth’s is proud to offer free wireless internet access to our patients and their visitors. Once your laptop or other device has detected the wireless connection, you will be asked to accept our Privacy and Use Policy to be automatically logged into our wireless web site.
