(Belleville, IL) - In an effort to help prospective parents find hospitals that deliver quality, affordable maternity care, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) announced that HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital has been designated as one of the first hospitals to receive the Blue Distinction® Center+ for Maternity Care designation, a new designation under the Blue Distinction Specialty Care program.

“Freedom From Smoking” program offered free of charge by The Cancer Treatment Center and HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and The Cancer Treatment Center have partnered to offer a FREE smoking cessation program to those in our community who want to put their health first and quit smoking. The “Freedom From Smoking” program is now accepting participants in this 8-week course.
