HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital has partnered with East Side Health District to sign-up people at an on-site enrollment center in Room 2308 (main floor) at 211 S. Third Street in Belleville. With the deadline this weekend, hours for this enrollment center have been extended to be open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, February 12-14.

BELLEVILLE, IL - In recent years, many rural Illinois hospitals have expressed a need for tele-medicine and tele-health services to better serve patients. Beginning this past summer, HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and 15 other hospitals formed the “Illinois CONNECT Rural Health Tele-Network” (Tele-CONNECT). Tele-CONNECT’s purpose is to coordinate and improve the access, quality and delivery of tele-medicine and tele-health services for patients in underserved and rural areas of central and southern Illinois.

Bolingbrook, IL – HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital today received feedback and was issued an “intent to deny” after one member of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) voted “no” on the hospital’s proposal to build a replacement hospital and ambulatory care center along Interstate 64 and Green Mount Road in St. Clair County.

At the request of HSHS St. Elizabeth’ Hospital, the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) has deferred Tuesday’s vote on the hospital’s proposal to build a replacement hospital and ambulatory care center along Interstate 64 and Green Mount Road in St. Clair County. St. Elizabeth’s will request that HFSRB consider the project again at their board meeting scheduled for January 27, 2015.

Belleville, IL – Joined by community supporters, building trades leaders and elected officials from throughout the Metro East region, leaders of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) on Wednesday announced plans to build a new, state-of-the-art hospital along Interstate 64 and Green Mount Road in St. Clair County. St. Elizabeth’s and HSHS also outlined plans to deliver health care services at the existing St. Elizabeth’s campus in Belleville.
