Gift Shop to host Grand Re-Opening, March 27
St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Gift Shop will hold a community Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, March 27 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The Gift Shop is located off the Main Lobby of the hospital at 211 South Third Street. All community members are invited to attend.
The event will include viewing of the newly remodeled Gift Shop, a blessing by Fr. John T. Myler, light refreshments and specialty sale items for purchase. In addition, the Ambassadors from the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce will join St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Administrators and Gift Shop volunteers for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The Gift Shop was previously a space that was rented to a third-party vendor that has now been converted to a hospital department as a “shop-for-a-cause” concept. The net proceeds are donated to the Friends of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to further support health initiatives and purchase equipment for a variety of areas in the hospital.
“We are very excited to reintroduce the new and improved St. Elizabeth’s Gift Shop to our colleagues, affiliated staff and the general public,” notes Natalie Jablonski, Executive Director, Mission Integration & Environment at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. “Bringing the service in-house will add to our philanthropic revenue to fulfill our mission of providing high quality Franciscan health care to all.”
Hours of operation for the Gift Shop are Monday through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For a more information, call 618.234.2120, ext. 1300.
