St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Invites Community to attend Toastmasters Anniversary Open House

Belleville – St. Elizabeth’s Hospital invites area community members to attend its Toastmasters International® Anniversary Celebration and Open House on Thursday, March 6th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Millennium Room of St. Elizabeth’s Medical Office Building A, at 340 W. Lincoln Street, Belleville, IL 62220. Guests will meet St. Elizabeth’s club members, learn how Toastmasters helps members improve communication and leadership skills, and enjoy light refreshments.

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital chose to charter a Toastmasters International club as a beneficial colleague development opportunity in February 2013, and has since opened the club to the community.

“Our club is excited to celebrate our one-year milestone and open our doors to the community,” said Emily Wilson, President of St. Elizabeth’s Toastmaster International Club. “The past year has been a year of growth for us, not only in members, but also in knowledge, skills, and experience and I invite anyone interested in strengthening their leadership and communication skills to attend our Open House on March 6th.”

If you are unable to attend the Open House, free guest visits are encouraged at the regularly scheduled meetings on the first and third Thursday of each month from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Millennium Room.
