Thank you for choosing St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Our mission is to reveal and embody Christ’s healing love for all people through our high quality Franciscan health care ministry. Our goal is to provide you with a positive patient experience and to ensure your satisfaction.

Patient Satisfaction Survey

Our goal is to provide you with a great patient experience. Our patient satisfaction survey enables us to listen to the voice of the patients, gather feedback to assess our performance, and ultimately improve our ability to provide great patient experiences. If you receive a random, confidential survery in the mail, please take a moment to complete and return it. This is your opportunity to tell us what we did well and where we can improve. Thank you.

Prescription Bedside Delivery

St. Elizabeth's works to continuously improve care for our patients. To ease the transition of discharge from the hospital to resting at home, we have teamed up with national drugstore chain Walgreens to offer a FREE, convenient hospital bedside delivery option for prescription medications. St. Elizabeth's Hospital is Walgreens’ exclusive hospital affiliate in St. Clair County.

Through a quick opt-in process with a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician, patients can have their prescriptions quickly filled and delivered directly to their room prior to being discharged. The benefits to the patient include:
  • No extra stop on way home
  • Insurance verification to streamline delays in authorization
  • Pharmacist consultation available to answer questions about discharge medications
  • Walgreens can transfer the script to any other ‘hometown’ pharmacy for future refills
Beyond providing an easy, time-saving option for obtaining prescriptions and supplies, the Walgreens program can also help improve patients’ compliance to take medications as prescribed by their physicians, which in turn, can help speed recovery.

If you would like to learn more about Walgreens Bedside Delivery during your stay at St. Elizabeth's, talk to your staff caregivers or call (618) 910-7809. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

For patients being discharged after normal hours, there is an option for “Express Pick-up” in which a prescription can be faxed to Walgreens and the patient can pick it up through the drive-thru on way home. Ask your caregiver for more information about this program.
