Meet Our Physicians


Meena Murugappan, M.D., F.C.C.P.
Dr. MurugappanDr. Murugappan is an HSHS Medical Group Pulmonologist practicing at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. She was born and raised in McLeansboro, IL and is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine. She completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. She is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonary Hypertension Association. She has a special interest in Asthma, Pulmonary Hypertension, and COPD. In addition to her special interests she sees patients with all lung diseases.

Brian A. Reichardt, M.D.
Dr. ReichardtDr. Reichardt is an HSHS Medical Group Pulmonologist and Intensivist practicing at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. He is a native St. Louisan and completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Saint Louis University Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has a special interest in Bronchoscopy, Lung Cancer, and Occupational Lung Diseases. In addition to his special interests he sees patients with all lung diseases.
