2016 Elizabethan Invitation
2016 Elizabethan Sponsorship Opportunities
Since its inception in 1983, the Elizabethan has become a traditional fall event for many members of the community. Originally known as the “Elizabethan Holiday”, the event was started by the St. Elizabeth’s Auxiliary as a luncheon and fashion show designed promote positive public relations for the Hospital, support the Hospital’s mission, and to honor the Feast of St. Elizabeth (celebrated in November). In 2012 the tradition evolved into what is now known as “The Elizabethan”, a gala which includes an evening of fellowship and fundraising accompanied by dinner, music, and celebrations.
Throughout its history, proceeds from the event have funded equipment purchases and supported healthcare programs throughout St. Elizabeth’s Hospital as well as provided annual scholarships to students pursuing careers in the medical and healthcare fields. Proceeds from this year’s event will continue the long-standing tradition of supporting healthcare programs and services provided by St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
Today, the Elizabethan remains a key fundraising event for the St. Elizabeth’s Foundation. Members of the Foundation Leadership Council, the Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers and many dedicated colleagues and physicians help to make the event a success. Their dedication to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is a beautiful demonstration of our Every Hand HealingTM approach to healthcare excellence.
